WeWork, the coworking space company valued at $21 billion, is not content just providing its members with a place to work, live and even work out. It's now an incubator of and merchant for entrepreneurs with physical products.
WeWork recently launched WeMRKT. Currently in three New York City WeWork locations, the small retail space is available to members only and includes products popular among WeWork's clientele -- for example, Justin's nut butters, Health-Ade Kombucha and Bulletproof Coffee -- as well as those developed by businesses who call WeWork home. Those products include snacks, fresh food, drinks, magazines and electronics, which members purchase through an automated checkout system.
