Does Health-Ade Kombucha need to be refrigerated? How long can I leave it out?

Refrigeration helps keep those millions of hard-working probiotics alive, so we recommend always keeping your kombucha cold. It will not go "bad" if it's left unrefrigerated, so if it still tastes great, it's good to go.

How much should I drink?

Kombucha is a food, not a drug or supplement. As such, it’s best to think about kombucha as you would any other healthy food or beverage - there is no known “right” or “wrong” amounts to drink. While we always recommend that people drink the amount that makes them feel good, it might be helpful to know that one bottle has 1B probiotics at the time of bottling, or twice the amount of the World Health Organization (WHO) daily recommended amount of probiotics. Most of us here at Health-Ade drink a bottle a day! :-)

As always, it's a good idea to talk through any dietary changes with your healthcare provider.

Is there alcohol in Health-Ade?

All kombucha has trace amounts of alcohol. Health-Ade kombucha is under 0.5% alcohol by volume so it's considered "non-alcoholic."

How long will my order take to deliver?

Health-Ade kombucha deliveries will arrive in approximately 2-5 business days, dependent on the day of purchase and your delivery location. Please be sure to check your tracking information to see when your shipment will arrive.

My Package was damaged in transit! What do I do?

If your package gets damaged before it arrives, please contact us at help@health-ade.com and we will be happy to coordinate another delivery.

I received a tracking email, but the product does not appear to be moving.

Sometimes, our shipping process creates a FedEx label a couple of days before the shipment leaves our refrigerated warehouse. Not to worry, you’ll get a follow-up notification when the order is officially on its way! If your order takes more than 5 business days to arrive, please contact us at help@health-ade.com for assistance.

Will my delivery arrive cold?

Luckily, the probiotics in Health-Ade can survive any of the shipping timelines available through our website. Whether your delivery arrives with cold, warm, or no ice packs, you can refrigerate your delivery and safely enjoy drinking it.

I placed an order by mistake! What should I do?

Due to our products' complex shipping requirements, all sales are final and we, unfortunately, cannot offer to process cancellations or accept returns. If you need further assistance, please contact us at help@health-ade.com.

Can I have the product delivered on a specific date?

For all FedEx deliveries, you will need to request any changes to delivery directly through their website. You may need to create an account to proceed, and in any case you should be able to find all the necessary information here: https://www.fedex.com/apps/fdmenrollment/

We apologize that we cannot communicate special delivery needs on customers' behalves to FedEx. Please feel free to reach out with any further questions. We are happy to help however we can!

My bottles arrived too bubbly, or not bubbly enough! What should I do?

At Health-Ade, we prioritize product quality and consistency and apologize for any product received that does not represent this commitment.

Please submit the following to help@health-ade.com, and we will make every effort to rectify and challenges:

1. Kombucha Flavor
2. Expiration Date (near the bar code)
3. Lot Code (3 digits next to expiration date).
4. Where the bottle was purchased, if not online.
5. A photograph of the bottle(s) in disucssion.

Why is it so expensive online? Do you price match? 

Surprisingly, shipping packs of our products directly to customer homes winds up costing a lot more money than shipping many 12-packs in bulk to grocery stores, where you find single bottles priced at similar prices to our website. We apologize for this inconvenience, but because of this we cannot match prices or come down in price online. We do host promotional discounts from time to time and encourage you to join our email and SMS lists for real time updates.

How do I start a subscription?

On all our product pages, there is a “frequency” section, where you can choose to purchase one time or select a subscription cadence that works for you. Learn more here!

Will I be locked in?

Absolutely not! You can cancel or change your subscription at any time here!

How do I create an account?

Once you place your first Health-Ade order, you can sign up for an account and manage your subscription here.

Why don't you sell your large bottles as a subscription?

Unfortunately, we have not found a safe and cost effective delivery method for 48oz bottles of Health-Ade. Please check out or store locator page to find a retailer near you that carries them.

Can I only use my rewards points if I am a subscriber?

No! After creating an account, you will earn rewards points for every purchase made on Health-Ade.com. Redemptions will apply to one-time purchases only. In other words, you may not apply rewards discounts to your ongoing subscription. If your fridge is getting too full, you can always skip one subscription order while you enjoy any rewards redemptions.

How do I see my points?

You can log into your Rewards account or you can create an account here and manage your points!

Will I receive rewards points for purchases I made before creating my rewards account?

You will only receive points for purchases made after creating your rewards account. Make sure to create an account before placing an order so you can receive points!

When do my rewards points expire?

You will have one year after earning the point to redeem them.

Can I return my order if I redeemed rewards points for a discount?

If you return the entire order, we will refund you the total dollar amount spent after the discount was applied. The points you used to redeem the discount will also be added back into your account!
