Prep Time – 5 Minutes
Set Time – 30 Minutes
Servings – 70 Gummies
¾ cup Health-Ade Kombucha Bubbly Rose flavor
¼ tsp rose water extract
2 tbsp agave syrup
1 ½ tbsp agar agar powder
½ cup Health-Ade Kombucha Bubbly Rose flavor
¼ cup pomegranate juice
¼ tsp Rose Water extract
2 tbsp agave syrup
1 ½ tbsp agar agar powder
Set gummy molds onto a baking sheet to keep them flat and for easy transport into the fridge.
In a small saucepan, bring the Health-Ade Bubbly Rose Kombucha (and pomegranate juice, if using) to a simmer. Stir in the rose water extract and agave syrup. Taste to ensure it is the desired sweetness and add more agave syrup if needed.
Using a whisk, stir in the agar agar powder. Whisk vigorously to break the agar agar powder clumps. Some white bits may remain and dissolve as the gummies set. The mixture will thicken quickly in one to two minutes.
Reduce the heat to low and leave the pan on the stove to keep the mixture soft. It will set rapidly once cool.
Using a gummy mold, pour in the gummy syrup into the molds. Once complete, place the baking sheet into the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow the gummies to set.
Pop them out of the molds to serve and store. Seal in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to one week.
The fermented drink adds a kick to every bite of this homemade gummy candies recipe. Undoubtedly, adults and kids will devour an entire jar in one seating. So, enjoy your daily serving of gummies that are not just healthy but gut-friendly too while they last!
