Summer Chillin’: Health-Ade Kombucha Tropical CBD Smoothie

It’s that sticky time of year when the sun shines hottest and the evening air stays thick with the fieriness of the day. Everyone seems to move a bit slower, as if we’re all under the spell of the heatwave, waiting for the high tide to break.

Luckily (whether you love those heat waves or not) this slowness is the perfect cue to pause and actually chill out. So, sit back and cool down with this totally tropical, totally chill smoothie. It’s featuring Health-ade’s new flavor Tropical Punch, and the stress-reducing powerhouses CBD oil and Ashwagandha to really help you get your chill on. It’s cold and frothy and so dreamy sweet, that sipping it slowly is the perfect way to sweat away the worries of your day. Breathe deep, cool down, and take a 15-minute vacation with this tropical CBD smoothie.

1 chopped pineapple
1 cup frozen mango
1 large banana, frozen
1/2 tsp. (1-3 mL) CBD oil (see NOTES)
1-2 tsp. ashwagandha (see NOTES)
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup coconut cream (see NOTES)
1/2 cup Health-ade Tropical Punch kombucha

Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately, garnished with additional fresh fruit or other toppings of choice.

Serve in a coconut bowl for bonus point vacation vibes.

NOTES:

  • CBD oil is the ingredient of choice these days. Many health and wellness studies have shown it to be an effective way to treat anxiety and daily stress. Do your own research, of course, to figure out what works best for you!

  • Ashwagandha is another stress-busting secret ingredient. It is one of a group of adaptogenic herbs that are used holistically to help the body fight external stressors and helps you gain clarity and energy. Again, please do your own research to see if it’s right for you.

  • Canned coconut cream (not to be confused with coconut milk) can be found at most natural grocery stores. Chill the can(s) for at least 3 hours before making the smoothie if you can, in order to obtain the ultimate rich creamy thickness.

Follow these simple instructions and before you know it, you’ll be sipping the most relaxing tropical CBD smoothie, this side of the tropics.
