A few weeks ago we joined Free People in Sonoma for an afternoon of kombucha brewing 101.
Twenty-Six guests gathered on the sprawling land that makes up the Lotus Feed Yoga Retreat Center. We joined together to celebrate the bounty of the earth, partake in meditation & yoga, and learn more about kombucha and what it takes to make the fermented tea.
The class was led by our brand manager, Callie, and went into a detailed explanation of what kombucha is, how it is made, and what makes Health-Ade so unique.
For those of you wondering, Health-Ade is the best-tasting and highest-quality kombucha you can buy. We brew 100% the old-fashioned way — the way nature intended — to ensure our brew is the best. We do SO many things differently, including: fermenting in glass to prevent plastic and metal leaching (we’re the only commercial glass brewer), brewing in super-small 2.5 gallon batches for premium quality, flavoring with the highest quality ingredients, like raw in-house cold-pressed juice from organic produce and, simply put, we make REAL kombucha. After the class, guests mingled while concocting personalized kombucha drinks using various raw, cold-pressed juices and fresh herbs. All attendees went home with a custom brewing kit to make their own kombucha at home – the old-fashioned way, the way nature intended.
