Job Description

 

The On-Premise Account Manager-New York: is responsible for driving volume growth, awareness and most importantly distribution and visibility across the assigned market within the on-premise/foodservice categories. These categories include: hotels, restaurants, bars, fitness, airports, arenas, cafes, etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maximize sales through effective territory planning, selling, and communication that enables the achievement of company objectives.
  • Plans territory and account management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure effective time management and customer follow-up.
  • Develops programs with ROI for assigned key accounts to achieve brand presence for example: menu listing and bar placements.
  • Targets and develops selling strategies for prospective accounts.
  • Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations to distributor and key account customers with approved, key messaging. Conducts or facilitates product trainings to key account staff.
  • Works in conjunction with Health-Ade’s Field Marketing and Brand/Trade Marketing departments to assist with the planning and execution of creative, local events that increase the presence and visibility within the target market; such as tasting events, menu and cocktail creations.
  • Ensure maximum brand visibility within accounts by maintaining account standards as determined by management and using effective and current point of sale materials when appropriate.
  • Effective distributor management to include: inventory management and understanding of logistics.
  • Work with distributor network on a regular, consistent basis to drive distribution, brand awareness and trial, execute distribution and brand building initiatives. Set goals with distributor to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual On-Premise goals.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with assigned distributor sales teams to educate and inform about Health-Ade programs and initiatives.
  • Must be available to travel 50%, some overnight, work nights and weekends depending on key activity commitments.

JOB Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of two years of On-Premise beverage sales/service environment or industry related experience; preferable in the New York market.
  • Exceptional selling, customer service orientation, account management and relationship development skills.
  • Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills; uses diplomacy and discretion.
  • Ability to multi-task, generate business plans, work independently and/or within a team, detail oriented, organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license for state of residence and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
